She began her artistic activity at the age of 17 as a dancer in Las Vegas, only to be discovered by a nightclub owner. She worked as a striptease artist billed as Miss Beverly Hills, and she was chosen to perform in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961). Her first work was Thriller (1961), and her most important television work was The Red Skeleton Show (1966-1970), where she presented 21 episodes.
