An American actor, born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, USA. He is known for Back Trail (1948), It Happened in Flatbush (1942), and The Falcon in San Francisco (1945). He acted in film and television and often played small roles, such as restaurant manager, party guest, gambler, barman, policeman, reporter, juror, townsman, blacksmith, photographer, attorney, and janitor. He started his career as an ice skater. He succeeded in getting small roles in films and began to appear in acting wrestling matches. His speaking roles were very few, and he turned to silent small roles, so he enjoyed permanent work in cinema and television in the sixties and seventies. He retired in the early eighties after his career declined and health problems began. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA on February 19, 1985.
