An American actor born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, USA on November 25, 1918 and died in Los Angeles, California, USA on February 19, 1985. He is known for Back Trail (1948), It Happened in Flatbush (1942), and The Falcon in San Francisco (1945). He acted in film and television and often performed additional roles, such as restaurant manager, party guest, show scene, gambler, barman, policeman, reporter, juror, town man, blacksmith, photographer, attorney, and janitor. He started his life as an ice skater and wanted to enter movies. He succeeded in getting small roles in films, and as a professional wrestler, he got more work in films, but his speaking roles were very few. He resorted to silent additional roles, so he enjoyed permanent work in cinema and television. In the sixties and seventies, he retired in the early eighties, after his career declined and health problems began. He died in 1985 at the age of 66.
