English actor, born on April 10, 1916, in Horden, Durham, England, UK. He worked briefly in mines, after which he joined the British Army's Royal Artillery, rising to the rank of major. After that, he left the service, got married to an American citizen, and immigrated with her to the United States, where he began his acting career. He worked with Elvis Presley, Cary Grant, Audie Murphy, and other major Hollywood stars. He is known for South Sea Woman (1953), The Time Tunnel (1966), and Evil Under the Sun (1982). He passed away in 2006, in California, USA.
