A Canadian actress, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on September 16, 1922, as Helene Florence Winston. She was married twice and had no children. Her most important works include What's the Matter with Helen? (1971), Police Woman (1974-1975), Double Trouble (1967), and A Boy and His Dog (1975). Helene was also a dancer and singer, who worked in the field of show and theater. She was the daughter of a European Jewish immigrant. Moreover, she was a poet who gave public readings in her late days and wrote books. She died of cancer at the age of 81 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on March 6, 2004.
