An American actress, born as Mary Edith Wilard Small in Pasadena, California, USA. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy at the New Jersey Web Festival. Her works include Sleeper (1973), Man on the Moon (1999), American Playhouse (1987), and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975).
She became known professionally as Marya Small during the 1970s, and she appeared on Broadway and sang in America and Canada. Her father was a doctor, and her mother was an artist. She started acting in theater productions in Vermont and then went to Broadway, performing in musicals and recording albums. She was a peace activist who spent 25 years participating in international peace assemblies. Her film debut was in The Trouble with Angels (1966), and she also appeared in the TV series Mom and Me (2018) in 12 episodes.
