Sir Robert Graham Stephens was a British actor. He was born on July 14, 1931, in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. He called himself the "Knight Errant". Actress Maggie Smith is one of his ex-wives. He won the Olivier Award in 1993. He was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play in 1959. He was the father of actors Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin. His works include The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) and The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970). He died on November 12, 1995, in London, England, United Kingdom. |
