Maryam Nouhy |
American actor born Stanford Rainey in Mountain Home, Idaho, US on 8 August 1908. He studied at the Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, from which he graduated in 1933. He worked with a few theater troupes until he moved to New York to study acting under Michael Chekhov. He began his professional career in the radio, then with travelling theater troupes, and made his Broadway debut in 1939. His film debut, however, was on White Heat (1949). His most notable works include The Time Tunnel (1966), Halloween II (1981), and 3:10 to Yuma (1957). He married Sheila Hayden and they had 3 children. He died on 25 July 2005 in Santa Monica, California, US.
