An American actor, born in Virginia, on December 13, 1892. He is one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood, with more than 500 piece of work. He played a variety of roles for city dwellers for more than 35 years. He made his debut in The Greene Murder Case in 1929 and then continued to provide supporting and additional roles. Until he was drafted into the army and was a machine gun trainer for recruits in the US Marines, and after his discharge from the army, he continued his work in Hollywood, until mid sixties. His works include: Schlitz Playhouse (1957), Calling Philo Vance (1940), and The Ghost Walks (1934). He presented his last work, Zebra in the Kitchen in 1965, and then retired. He died in Los Angeles, on April 10, 1972. |
