An American film actress, born in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was one of the promising stars who did not reach stardom. She began her activity on stage at the age of six, and appeared in cinema at the age of eleven. She received her education at the Marlborough Academy and studied drama at the Pasadena Community Playhouse. In film, she played the roles of nurses, receptionists, telephone operators, and secretaries. She married dialogue director Franklin Gray (1938-1979) and had four children, with whom he remained until his death. Among her notable works are Song of the Saddle (1936), I Married a Doctor (1936) and Freshman Love (1935). She died in Santa Barbara, California, USA, on June 14, 1988, at age 74.
