A British actor, born on February 10, 1960, in London, England, UK. He studied at Marlborough College and Magdalen College School, Brackley. Among his most notable works are Excalibur (1981) and Bugs (1998). In 1976, he joined Michael Croft's National Youth Theatre in London. He spent a year training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, then he left after landing the role of Mordred in John Boorman's Excalibur (1981).
Robert then went on to appear in several films and television productions, most notably Another Country. He quit acting in 1989 for personal reasons, then returned to acting in 1995, appearing in some theatrical productions in the south of England, after which he appeared in TV productions, such as Noah's Ark (1997) and The New Adventures of Robin Hood (1997). Robert married and divorced three times, and had three children. He died on November 20, 2003, in Cheltenham, England, UK.
