A British actress, born on March 30, 1944, in Lahore, Pakistan. Her father worked in import/export, and she spent the first eight years of her life traveling around Burma, India, and the Orient, after which her family returned to England. She attended Wycombe Abbey School for Girls in High Wycombe.
After she left school, she trained for some years at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Thereafter, she formed the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool with a group of other newly graduated students. Her brother was musician Nick Drake. Gabrielle married Louis Hosia de Wet. Among her notable works are UFO (1970-1971), Au Pair Girls (1972), and UFO... annientare S.H.A.D.O. stop. Uccidete Straker... (1974).
