British actor, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 7, 1920. He was married to Ursula Klara Binias (1969-1980), and they had a child before their divorce. Due to his father work, they always moved between different countries. He got his early education in South America, Canada, East Africa and Mozambique. At the age of 18, he joined the Signal Corps in the Royal Navy, and participated in the Second World War. In 1948, he went to America, and appeared in many theatrical, film and television roles. He is known for Dial M for Murder (1954), The Twilight Zone (1959) and The Flame and the Arrow (1950). He died in Los Angeles, California, on December 10, 1989 of liver failure.
