• Australian actress, singer, and former club owner, born on May 24, 1953 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Her father was a writer, who referred to her as "Little Nell" in his...Read more family life column in the Sydney Daily Telegraph. From the age of ten, she studied ballet, modern dance, tap and singing. Upon leaving high school, she attended a one-year course in drama school. At the age of 18, she moved to London and was discovered by director Jim Sharman. She has also written for some magazines, including in Talk magazine. She's known for playing Columbia in both the 1975 film The Rocky Horror Picture Show as well as the original stage play.
