English writer, novelist and critic, born in Wortley, South Yorkshire, on 14 May 1961. He attended Woodford Junior School, and Plymouth College. David began writing for the music magazine NME in 1983, and also wrote on a number of shows such as The Day Today, and Brass Eye. He also wrote the critically acclaimed horror novel All My Colors. Among his works are Book of Love (2022), The Thick of It (2012), and Veep (2013-2015), for which he won an Emmy Award. |
