He was born in the city of Shatra in Nasiriyah, Iraq, in 1937. In 1961, he presented the two plays The Heater's Money, and Six Dirhams. He was appointed as a supervisor of the acting subject in the city of Nasiriyah. He completed his studies at the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad. He is famous for the series The Head, and Loaf on the Face of the Water.
