American actor and producer born John Roger Atchley in Kansas City, Missouri, US on 25 December 1934. He was a wrestling champion and attended Oklahoma State University on an athletic scholarship, and obtained a bachelor's degree in economics. He was discovered while vacationing in California. His film debut was in 1957. His notable works include The Twilight People (1972), How to Stuff a Wild Bikini (1965), Apocalypse Now (1979), and The A-Team (1983-1987). He died of a heart attack on 3 October 1997 in New York City, US.
