British actor born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on December 6, 1929. He got married to actress Imogen Moynihan (1965-2013), they had a child, and she remained with him until his death. Among his important works are: Z Cars (1962), Watch Your Stern (1960), and Danger Man (1961). He died in Ashford, Kent, England, on January 13, 2013.
