British actor, broadcaster, and musician born in Fulham, London, England, United Kingdom on September 17, 1934 as Robin Olden. He was married to actress Susan Stranks in 1960, they got a child, and she remained with him until his death. His notable works include A Hard Day's Night (1964), Watch Your Stern (1960) and Dig This Rhubarb 1963. He worked in film, radio and television. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He played minor roles before teaching drama at RADA, and in 1966, he resigned from teaching to continue his career as a broadcaster and musician. He died in 1998 of lung cancer, at the age of 64.
