He studied philosophy and literary history at Lund University before returning to Helsinki, where he studied at Svenska Teaterns...Read more (1958-1960) and then returned again to Sweden to settle there and begin his artistic career until 2017, working in film and television. He married actress Christina Lundquist. He appeared in more than 70 Swedish films and television works since the early 1960s. He is known for Blue Eyes (2014), Vägg i vägg (1986) and Haren och vråken (1984).
