Finnish Swedish-speaking actor and director who was born on October 13, 1937 in Helsinki, Finland. During the Second World War, he was sent to Sweden. He studied philosophy and literary history at Lund University before returning to Helsinki, where he studied at Svenska Teaterns (1958-1960) and then returned again to Sweden to settle there and begin his artistic career until 2017, working in film and television. He married actress Christina Lundquist. He appeared in more than 70 Swedish films and television works since the early 1960s. He is known for Blue Eyes (2014), Vägg i vägg (1986) and Haren och vråken (1984).
