A Hungarian actor and writer, born in Hajdúnánás, Austria-Hungar, on August 18, 1884 as Menyhért Grünbaum. He married Czech actress Annie Arden. With the rise of National Socialism, he was forced to leave Germany and relocate to England, where he continued his film career there until he died. Maure studied at the Dusseldorf Academy in Germany, was hired by Max Reinhardt Theaters in Berlin, performed in theater, radio, and cinema projects around Europe, and also appeared in the Jewish theater. He passed away in 1964, at the age of 80.
