Uruguayan actor born in Montevideo, Uruguay on October 12, 1900. He appeared in more than 80 films between 1934 and 1978, and starred in the award-winning El Lazarillo de Tormes (1959). Among his most important works are: Fall of the Mohicans (1965), Saul e David (1964), and El Lazarillo de Tormes (1959). He died in Colera, Valencia, Spain on February 17, 1981.
