Andrea Esterhazy was born in Bratislava, Austria-Hungary on October 19, 1913 as Andreas Bela Peter Hubert Esterhazy. Andrea Esterhazy was a Hungarian actor and diplomat who worked in European and American cinema. He mastered German, Hungarian, Italian, French and English, which qualified him for cinematic work in various European countries. Esterhazy was a member of the noble Esterhazy family in Hungary, and was a diplomat before embarking on an acting career. He worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Budapest, before World War II, and later worked as a secretary at the embassy in Rome, where he lived the rest of his life. He died in 1984 at the age of 70.
