An American actor, born in Texas, USA, on November 11, 1898, as Raden Charles Jones. In 1933, Ray Jones married Irene Cole, and they had one child. His most important works include Flashing Guns (1947), Schlitz Playhouse (1956), and The Vanishing Outpost (1951). Ray Jones was a prolific film and television actor. He played supporting and minor roles, such as the gambler, barfly, henchman, townsman, juror, rancher, settler, gang member, driver, deputy, and guard. Jones died at the age of 76 in Los Angeles, California, USA, on October 27, 1975, of cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
