James Neylin was born in Dublin, Ireland on March 9, 1920. He was an Irish actor who worked in film and television. James married actress Joyce Ash, and they had two children. He is better known for his roles in Pride and Prejudice (1952), Freedom to Die (1961), and Garry Halliday (1960-1962). He debuted in The Gay Lady (1949) and ended his career with five episodes of the TV series Garry Halliday (1962). James Neelen died in 1965 at the age of 45.
