An Irish film and television actor, born in Dublin, Ireland. He married actress Joyce Ash, and they had two children. Among his notable credits are Pride and Prejudice (1952), Freedom to Die (1961), and Garry Halliday (1960-1962). He debuted in The Gay Lady (1949) and ended his career with five episodes of the TV series Garry Halliday (1962). He died in 1965, at the age of 45.
