A British writer, director, producer, and actor, born in Tanganyika. He founded the Bistro Vino restaurant in London in 1964. He also opened The Reject China Shop in Beauchamp Place, London. His notable credits include The Devil's Pass (1957), The Night We Got the Bird (1961), and Nothing Barred (1961). He died in 1973, at the age of 54.
