• A British film, stage and television actress, born in London, England as Helen Margaret Goss. She was also a drama teacher and was responsible for admissions to the Rank Charm...Read more School. She is better known for The Wicked Lady (1945), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959), and BBC Sunday-Night Play (1962). She made her film debut in Bachelor's Baby (1932) and ended her film career with Jane Eyre (1970). She died in 1985, at the age of 82.
