A New Zealand television actress and screenwriter, born in Wellington, New Zealand to politician Phil Holloway. She originally worked as a journalist but turned to acting and had a long career in theatre. She worked in Australia in the early 1980s, with roles in the feature films Squizzy Taylor and The Clinic. She also worked in Australian television, appearing in guest roles in several episodes of the soap opera Prisoner, for which she also wrote some episodes. She eventually came to international attention for her recurring role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. She died on December 29, 2004, in Auckland, New Zealand.
