He was a Polish-born actor, musician, and singer, born in Kraków, Poland, as Gwidon Borucki. He is known for his roles in war films. He appeared in many screen and stage productions. He attended the School of Foreign Trade in Lwów and performed in restaurants to earn money. During WWII, he founded a military theater group. His first appearance was in The Passionate Friends (1949), and he made his last appearance in The Great Van Robbery (1959). Later, he moved to Australia, where he pursued his acting career and focused on the Polish community living in Australia. He starred in his own TV musical program, Tea for Two (1960). He was married to Irena Anders but got divorced. He passed away at the age of 97 on December 31, 2009, in Melbourne, Australia.
