A British actor, born in 1981 in Newry, United Kingdom. In 2002, Byrne graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, after which he spent 3 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Moreover, he has participated in world premieres of works by John Grogan, Owen McCafferty, and Nona Shepphard. In 2013, he was a member of the re-formed internationally acclaimed Field Day Theatre Company, with which he performed in the world premiere of Sam Shepard's play "A Particle of Dread". His most notable works include Nowhere Special (2020) and Bloodlands (2021).
