Cyril William North Raymond was a British actor. He was born on February 13, 1899, in Rowley Regis, Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom. He was married to Gillian Lind and Iris Hoey. Raymond was trained at Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree's Academy of Dramatic Art in 1915. He was an aircraft mechanic in the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War. His works include Brief Encounter (1945), The Faithful Heart (1922), and The Ghost Train (1931). He died on March 20, 1973, in Sussex, England, United Kingdom.
