Austrian actor, born on June 14, 1931, in Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria. He studied at the University of World Trade in Vienna, then trained for acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar. He was married to Gotlinde Rupp. He is known for A Fistful of Dollars (1964), The Lightship (1963), and Weininger's Last Night (1990). He retired from film and television acting in 1995 and died on July 20, 2015, in Vienna, Austria.
