A German actor and writer, born on January 8, 1898, in Berlin, Germany. He studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Academy of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin in 1919. Bienert remained an ensemble member of the Deutsches Theater from 1945 until he died in 1986. He was married to Hilde Volk, Barbara Hofen, and Inge Herbrecht. He is known for M (1931), Emilia Galotti (1958), and Thomas Müntzer (1956). He died on December 23, 1986, in West Berlin, West Germany.
