American actress born Helen Beuscher on 24 July 1917 in Brooklyn, New York, US. At 16, she was crowned Miss New York, then moved to Hollywood to pursue her acting career. Her most notable works include The Great Ziegfeld (1936), Bride Suite (1939), Romance in the Rain (1934), and Bring on the Bride (1929). She married twice and had three children. She died on 17 February 1985 in Los Angeles, California. |
