British writer, born on January 27, 1937, in South London. He wrote mainly about unsolved crimes. He was married to Anna Yallop. He is known for Chicago Joe and the Showgirl (1990), and Beyond Reasonable Doubt (1980). He died on August 23, 2018, in London.
