An American actor, born in New York City, USA, on March 21, 1894, as Lester Scharff. He is known for Thoroughbreds (1944), The Flying Saucer (1950), Song of My Heart (1948), and Unmasked (1950). He began his career by working in vaudeville theaters, and in 1927, he made his movie debut in the silent film New York. His final appearance was in the television series The Man Called X (1956-1957). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 30, 1962, of a heart attack.
