An American actress, born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, on November 5, 1890. She is known for Gentleman Jim (1942), Telephone Operator (1937), Love Begins at 20 (1936), and Trail San Antone (1947). She began her artistic activity by working in theatres in 1913, and in 1935, she made her film debut in Annapolis Farewell. Dorothy appeared as a nurse, seamstress, maid, mother, and others. Her last appearance was in the TV series The Abbott and Costello Show (1953). She died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on March 15, 1955, from cerebral hemorrhage.
