A Jamaican-Canadian poet, actor, singer and songwriter, born on February 19, 1986 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His father is Canadian and half-American and his mother is Jamaican. He graduated from Selwyn House School in 2003. At the age of 18, he was diagnosed with...Read more rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of cancer. He underwent one year of chemotherapy, followed by radiation. He created music in the hospital during his treatment, and finished treatment in December 2005. He was trained in the Youth Initiative of the Black Theatre Workshop in Montreal during and after cancer treatment. He made his acting debut in Look Again (2011), after which he appeared in several films and series, such as Crisis (2021) and On the Basis of Sex (2018). He founded his own record label, MindPeaceLove Ent.
