An American actress, born in Spokane, Washington, USA, on June 27, 1894, as Katharine Drain. She married writer John Howard Lawson (1919-1924). She is known for How to Marry a Millionaire (1958), Bride of Vengeance (1949), Phantom of the Opera (1943), and Rock Island Trail (1950). She appeared in supporting roles, often as a nurse, cashier, warden, and others. She died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 14, 1977.
