An American actress, born in Oakland, California, USA, as Susan Seabold. She was nominated for a TV Emmy Award 6 times and won it in 2018 for her entire work. She also won the 1977 Soap Hub Award for Best Actress, Actress of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement. Susan married actor and writer Bill Hayes in 1974. Among her works are Days of Our Lives (1968-2022), The Young and the Restless (1984-2010), The Bold and the Beautiful (2003), and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1965). Susan attended Los Angeles Valley College and Boston University and was active in theater as a teenager.
