A Canadian actress, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on July 26, 1912, as Monty Margetts McDonald. She married Harold M. McDonald, and they had a daughter. Among her most important works are The Red Skelton Show (1960-1968), I Spy (1968), Mission: Impossible (1972), and Sweet November (1968). She worked in American cinema, television, and radio. She began her career as a radio actress in 1929. In 1949, she was one of the biggest stars on KTLA as she hosted Los Angeles' first televised cooking show, Cook's Corner. She passed away at the age of 84 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 27, 1997.
