A Canadian actress and writer, born as Tracy Elizabeth Dawson on April 9, 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She started acting at The Second City Toronto in Toronto, Canada. She wrote the play Them & Us, which premiered at the Theatre Passe Muraille in 2009. She won a Gemini Award and a Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Call Me Fitz. She has lived in Los Angeles since 2006 and became a naturalized US citizen in 2015. Her other credits include Girl Vs. Monster (2012) and Chillerama (2011).
