Add/Update Information: Monther Gamil - Director

An Iraqi director, born in 1940. After graduating from the College of Fine Arts, he obtained a diploma from the Yugoslav Film Institute. He worked for Baghdad TV and directed many programs for the cultural department and the development department. In 1976, he directed his movie The Answer, based on a scenario developed by the writer Sabah Atwan. In 1978, his documentary film Human Rights for Whom? won the Case Prize of the Third Palestine Film and Program Festival, and in 1979 Baghdad TV showed the TV feature film Under the Same Sky, which he directed.
