A Syrian writer, born in the Syrian city of Hama. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Damascus University in 1952. He wrote in a number of daily and weekly newspapers in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait and the UAE, and he was known for his satirical writing. He left Syria permanently, traveled to Beirut in the last week of 1965, and stayed there until 1975, then left for Baghdad due to the outbreak of the civil war, and in Iraq, he worked as an employee in the Children’s Culture House. In 1990, he left Baghdad after the second Gulf War and arrived in Amman. Among his fictional works are "The Devils' Mill," "The Dilemma," and "A Very Secret Mission." He had five children, and he died on May 17, 2000.
