Australian actor and writer, born on September 29, 1934, in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. He attended school in Melbourne and then attended the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He began his artistic career as an actor in the movie Sound of Thunder (1957). He participated in nearly 79 works, the most famous of which are: Knowing, The Blue Lagoon (1980), and Prisoner (1981-1984). He also contributed to writing 32 works, the most famous of which is Neighbours series (1998-2001). He died of lung cancer on March 19, 2022, at the age of 87.
