A New Zealand actress, born in Lusaka, Zambia, to New Zealand parents. He is a former journalist for The Listener, and Dina Priestley is a writer and actress. Tandy graduated from the New Zealand drama school Toi Whakaari with a diploma in acting in 1994, and from 1995 to 2000, she appeared as Nurse Caroline Paxton in the soap opera Shortland Street, then appeared in the soap opera Crash Palace (2001), and has appeared in several films such as Black Sheep (2006), Out of the Blue (2006), Jack the Giant Slayer (2013), and Love and Monsters (2020).
