German actress, writer, and producer, born on the 15th of April 1983 in Hamburg, Germany. She is the daughter of the theater director and singer Sanda Weigel and the actor and playwright Klaus Pohl. She is the sister of the writer Marie Pohl and cousin of the actress Anna Thalbach. She studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and holds a master's degree in acting from the United Nations International School in New York City. Among her works are the series Homeland and the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
