She was an American actress, born on January 4, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, USA, as Dorothy Karolyn Granger. She won the Texas beauty contest when she was 13 years old. She became famous for her roles in short comedies in Hollywood and was considered the "queen of thematic short films" for her work in two-reel films (20 minutes), and she also appeared in 100 feature films. She played various roles in many different genres of films and TV productions with a lot of well-known actors. When her film roles diminished, she retired and helped her husband in an upholstery shop in Los Angeles. Among her notable works are Dramatic School (1938), I've Been Around (1935), and The Primrose Path (1931). She married twice, and she passed away at the age of 83 from cancer on January 4, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
