An American actor, born on September 3, 1890, in Forest City, Pennsylvania, USA, as Patrick Henry O'Malley Jr. He is of Irish descent. Before pursuing a career in acting when he was 16 years old, he had experience working in American vaudeville and as a stage performer. He appeared in silent films as a leading actor, but with the development of sound, his career prominence declined, yet he was satisfied with hundreds of additional and supporting roles. He is known for his roles in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Proud Flesh (1925), and Hollywood Boulevard (1936). He was married to Lillian O'Malley, with whom he had three children. He died at the age of 75 from a heart attack on May 21, 1966, in Van Nuys, California, USA.
